My view of Baby Tree
This is what I see when I look down. Notice that my feet are not in the photo. When I was pregnant with Orion we played a game at my baby shower where everyone tried to guess my circumference by snipping a piece of yarn that would fit perfectly around my belly. Well, I made the mistake of getting that yarn out and IT WAS TOO SMALL! The yarn was snipped, 28 days before Orion's due date, 24 days before he was born. Here I am with two months to go and I am already that big, plus some. I mean, I knew I was bigger this time around, but seeing the yarn not reaching around me really shocked me. Anyway, my midwives are pleased with my "growth" and I have not yet showed any signs of gestational diabetes, so I am trying not to worry that much about it. Orion was only 6 lbs 8 oz, so this baby could be a bit larger and still not be a big baby.
Are we naming the baby Tree? NO WAY! This is the name that Orion calls the baby. After months of giving the baby nonsensical names that changed each time you asked, he started sticking with the name Tree, so that is what we call him for now. We have suggested Sappling, in place of Baby Tree, but Orion won't stand for that.
