The weather was getting warm. We had some days where it reached 85 F. It was beautiful. We put on our shorts and headed outdoors. The flowers started blooming. Orion would go out and pick bouquets of daffodils from our backyard. Isn't he a sweet boy?
Then, yesterday morning, it snowed. Big huge flakes fell from the sky and the daffodils shriveled up. By afternoon it was too warm for snow, but the damage had already been done. I'm so glad we have a few bouquets inside to enjoy, and maybe the daffodils will revive soon. It seems this happens every year. The daffodils get wiped out either by the cold or a thunderstorm. Those beautiful flowers are never around as long as I'd like.
